Bruder Design House was born out of a desire to create extraordinary structures in the real world for humans to experience.
We are focused on creating homes that people feel delight in inhabiting. The art of extracting, moulding, and building human ideas into beautiful, lasting homes, motivates us every day to exceed expectations.
With talent and expertise in designing and building, we rapidly develop ideas and concepts into real homes to be enjoyed daily.

Bob Messegee
Principal Builder, Co-Founder
Bob grew up building and spent years in the construction industry prior to earning his degree in Computer Science from the University of Washington. Soon after he began working as a Software Engineer and eventually an Engineering Manager. For the last 6 years, Bob has been serving as the Engineering Director for a software development company in Austin. During his tenure he has managed all aspects of project delivery and execution for a wide range of clients and projects. While this work was challenging and rewarding, Bob's passion for creating excellence in the physical world has brought him back to building. Loaded with technical capability, project management, team building, and business management experience, Bob is excited to be making an impact in an industry he loves while creating exceptional homes and delighting clients.
Sean Gatzen
Principal Designer, Co-Founder
Even from a very young age Sean has always spent a lot of time observing and creating. While his passion for design and innovation have always been part of his DNA, his Undergraduate Degree in International Economics led to a successful career in commercial banking, in addition to a Master's Degree in Banking. But his mind has always questioned the status quo, and regardless of the direction he was going, his purpose has been to take the more challenging path, which often requires a creative approach. Sean's curiosity and insight for design has always pulled him toward the built environment. During his career as a commercial real estate banker, he financed over $140,000,000 in real estate projects, which were exciting not just from a transactional approach, but because of the design and strategy behind each project. Now, as he pursues his Master's in Architecture, Sean's focus is on designing and constructing built environments that awe and amaze clients, creating energy and a new perspective through wordless expression. Whether it is a custom piece of furniture, or a full-blown residential development, the pursuit of something extraordinary is always at the forefront. With creativity and innovation, Sean and the BDH team strive to make the world a better place to experience.
